The Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Defense and the representative of Ikorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson, has emphasized the importance of youths in Ikorodu in particular and the country in general, to join the Nigerian Army.
The three -term lawmaker, in a statement at the weekend, said that youths can contribute to nation building through the army, and also advanced their personal advancement.
He charged the youths on the need to take up the recruitment into the army, stating that the exercise commenced on September 20 and will close on November 8, 2024.
“The Nigerian Army Recruitment Exercise, which commenced on September 20th, 2024, is set to close on November 8th, 2024.
“If you are interested in serving your country and building a rewarding career, now is the time to apply!”, the lawmaker said.
While urging the youths to join the army, Rep. Benson highlighted the benefits as:
